Set the authentication mode

You need to set the authentication mode via the AVEVA Mobile Operator web application.The authentication mode will be selected for the Tenant and all the organizations, Plants, and bases under that tenant will inherit the same authentication mode.

To set the authentication mode:

1. Select the Tenant.

   A pane appears on the right side of the workspace, displaying the details of the Tenant.

2. Select the Security Settings tab.

3. Select Authentication Mode, and then select the required mode from the drop-down list.

   Note: In the authentication mode as 'Hybrid', you can set a local password for an Active Directory user via Management Center. For more information, see the Management Center User's Guide.

4. Select Save.

   All the organizations under the Tenant will inherit the authentication mode.

5. Select any organization under that tenant and verify the value displayed in the Authentication Mode field.

   The authentication mode selected in Step 2 will be displayed.
