In Enterprise mode authentication, you can add an Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, or CONNECT user only via auto registration. To know about auto registration in Enterprise Mode, refer to AVEVA Management Center User's Guide. Local User Groups can be added via Management Center and only Enterprise users can be associated with Groups after the users are auto registered. Permissions cannot be assigned to users directly. Permissions are inherited only from the Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, or CONNECT Group membership.
Password policies such as password criteria, password age, and password length (minimum or maximum length) are enforced by the Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, or CONNECT.
To know how to configure CONNECT, see the topic 'Configuring CONNECT for Authentication' in the AVEVA Mobile Operator Installation Guide. To know how to configure Azure to use Azure Active Directory users, see the topic 'Working with Azure Active Directory' in the AVEVA Mobile Operator Installation Guide.
