Move Bases

To change a Base’s associated Shift Group while retaining Historical Data and non Crew-based Procedure Scheduling, take the following steps.
Note: On the day and during the Shift a Base is moved to a new Shift Group, the Start and End times for scheduled Procedures of that Base may not be calculated correctly. It will take one shift until the Start and End times of the Procedures adjust properly. It is recommended to suspend Procedure Instances scheduled for the current Shift before using this function.
-
Open the Security Manager under the Management Center "Administration" Group.
-
Click "Bases" from List Manager - Edit.

-
Expand the "Base" section at the bottom of the screen, and select the Base whose Shift Group you wish to reassign.
-
Select the desired Shift Group from the "Shift Group" drop-down list.

-
A warning dialog will appear, detailing the changes that will occur due to this change. Click OK to accept the changes (or Cancel to cancel the move).
-
The following window will then appear, asking the user to ensure that the Shifts from the Bases’s former Shift Group match with the corresponding Shifts in the Shift Group to which the Base is being moved.

-
If this is not correct, click a Shift Name in the "From Shift" or "To Shift" column to reveal a drop-down box from which the other Shift(s) can be selected:

When this screen displays the correct "From" and "To" Shifts, click OK. The Base will be reassigned to the new Shift Group and Shifts.
