To fetch a value from the ArchestrA system for input into a Task, configure the Task as shown below.

  1. Find the Tag you wish to provide as the input to the Task; in the example below, "QA_2.xy_double"

    This is an image highlighting the tag 'QA_2.xy_double'.

  2. Configure the Task in Procedure Builder for data type "Calculation" as detailed in the Procedure Builder section of the Management Center documentation.

  3. Use the @GetArchestrAData command to target the selected Tag, as shown in the example below, in which the @TONUMBER function is used to convert the read data into an input format appropriate for the Procedure:
