There are three different ways to schedule Shifts to a Crew’s Rotation Pattern.
Method 1:
-
Left-click on the desired Shift, holding down the left mouse button.

-
Drag the Shift to the desired day in the Rotation Pattern.

-
Release the left mouse button.

Method 2:
-
Right-click the desired cell in the Rotation Pattern, for example the 11th as above.

-
Left-click the title of the desired shift in the context menu.
Method 3:
Once a Shift has been placed on the Rotation Schedule, it can also be dragged to cover a span of several days. For example, say a Crew is to work the Morning shift from the 11th through the 17th, and the 11th has been scheduled, as above.
-
Simply drag-and-drop the cell in the Rotation Pattern Calendar as shown above to the desired date to set the range:

-
Release the left mouse button, and the Shift will be scheduled for every day within the range specified.

The Crew is now set to work the Morning shift from the 11th to the 17th day in a 28-day Rotation Period, and the appropriate Cells are colored as per the Shift’s configuration in Shift Setup. Note also that each day for which a Shift is scheduled is numbered according to how many times that shift appears in the rotation, or the amount of "active days" in the rotation. The value shown here corresponds to the "X days into the Crew’s rotation" value shown when scheduling a Procedure based on Crew rotation.
