In addition to accessing reports from Management Center, you can also access the SSRS Reports from the web application. The reports appear listed in the Report submenu and on selection, it opens the Report Viewer in a separate tab. However, before accessing the reports, you must consider the following points:
-
For the reports to appear in the AVEVA Mobile Operator web application, make sure that:
-
You have provided the SSRS Server End Point URL in the Configurator. This is a required step as the Report icon (
) will appear in the left navigation panel only if you have specified the SSRS URL
in the Configurator and has also given the "Create and view reports" permission for
at least one plant in Management Center.
To know more about the SSRS Endpoint URL, see the AVEVA Mobile Operator Installation Guide.
-
You have selected the Application Permission, 'Create and View Reports', for the reports in the Management Center
-
-
Accessing the reports depends upon the permissions granted on Plants. If you do not have permissions to access certain Plants, you will not be able to access the reports of that Plant.
-
As required, you can hide or change the order of the reports displayed on the Report submenu. To hide or change the order, you need to update the ssrs-config.json file. For more information on updating the JSON file, see the AVEVA Mobile Operator Installation Guide.
