Every configuration that affects or evaluates input, or produces input without mobile application user assistance, is represented by a calculation expression. To simplify entry of the most common functions requiring a calculation expression, Procedure Builder Nodes provide "Wizards" involving the following data types:
-
Lists
-
Date
-
Date/Time
-
Calculation (when List, Date, or Date/Time output is selected)
The following are examples of functions achieved with the aid of Wizards:
-
Specifying a Default Value to a Task or Task Group
-
Applying an offset to the current time value for a Task configured with a "Date" or "Date/Time" Data Type
-
Firing a Condition if its parent Task’s value falls inside or outside a specified boundary
-
Firing a Decision based on date or its Parent’s expression evaluation
In addition, the Wizard interface allows a user to Copy and Paste calculation expressions, which can help to save time when configuring many similar Procedure Nodes.
