Configure Mobile Operator Data Transformation Service settings

  1. Login to the Management Center desktop application.

  2. Launch the iDTS Configuration utility from the Administration Group.

    The iDTS will display the list of Providers configured in the Server Integration Configs section of the Procedure Builder.

    Note: The user account must have the appropriate permissions for Mobile Operator Data Transformation assigned in the Administration application's Security module before performing these steps. Refer to the Administration section of the Management Center User's Guide for more information regarding permissions and the Mobile Operator Data Transformation application.

  3. Select the Registered Provider from the left panel.

    Tip: Move the mouse cursor over an item in the list of Registered Providers to display a Tool Tip describing it.

  4. Select one of the following options:

    • Do not import data from this provider – Disables the selected provider, preventing import of data into AVEVA Mobile Operator from the configured external system.

    • Import every "X" minutes – Configures the provider to import data into AVEVA Mobile Operator from the external system on a recurring basis between 1 and 360 minutes.

    • Import on a specified day and time – Configures the provider to import data into AVEVA Mobile Operator from the external system at a specific time of day, one or more days a week.

      Note: For informational purposes a read-only display at the bottom of the schedule panel will show the date and time that this registered provider last ran

      Tip: It is recommended that you stagger the Data Transformation Service Provider start times so as not to have them all start at the same moment. Separate start times by at least one hour.

  5. Select File→Save to save the configuration of this schedule.

    Note: The Data Transformation Service is not logged within the AVEVA Mobile Operator Error Log in Administration. For troubleshooting, use the ArchestrA Logger.
