Special considerations when editing Crews

Editing a Crew’s Start Date will cause the system to re-evaluate that Crew’s Rotation Pattern; if this value is modified, be sure to compare the Rotation Pattern with a proper calendar (the Print option for Current Crew is an excellent way to do this) to ensure that the Crew is still scheduled for the proper Shifts and days. This will not affect past scheduling.
Editing a Crew’s Rotation Period will cause a similar re-evaluation of the data. If this value is increased, the difference will be added to the end of the Rotation Period and Pattern; the added days will be blank. If this value is decreased, the difference will be removed from the end of the Period (causing it to restart that many days earlier).
If decreasing the Rotation Period value causes the removal of days in the Rotation Schedule for which the Crew is assigned a Shift, the warning "The changes made to this crew's rotation schedule may affect procedure schedules based on it. Are you sure you want to save the changes?" appears. Click Save or Cancel as desired.
Likewise, attempting to navigate away from a Crew edited in this manner will display a similar warning "Changes have been made to CrewName, including changes to the crew's rotation schedule that may affect procedure schedules based on it. Do you want to save the changes?" appears. Click Save, Discard, or Cancel as desired.
