Camera

Camera allows the mobile application user to scan a barcode as input to a Task.

To create a Camera integration, drag the "Camera" icon from the Toolbox to the desired Task.

The "Camera" item is selected, and the "Camera" section beneath opens to the General tab.

Configure the following options as necessary:

• Title: This required field, limited to 255 characters, aids in the identification of this Camera integration.

• Field Name: Select a valid field name from the drop-down list, defined during format definition of the Barcode tags, to specify the data to read and/or write from the tag. The default field name is "Barcode".

  By default, a generic field value 'Barcode' is set at Tenant Level. For further customization of fields to be read, custom fields can be created and the field value setting can be overridden at Organization or Plant level.
