Work with the Database Integrity Utility

Run the Database Integrity utility (DBIntegrity.exe file). When you run the Database Integrity utility against the database, the Database Integrity utility captures all the invalid or bad data in a.CSV file.

The utility supports the following command line parameters. You can see the command line parameters by entering the following command:

dbintegrity --help

It displays the following parameters:

  • -i, --integrated-security - Default value of the parameter is False. Use the integrated security parameter when connecting to the database.

  • -c, --configuration-file - Default value of the parameter is DBIntegrity.json. This is a configuration file.

  • -o, --Output-file - Default value of the parameter is DBIntegrity.csv. This is an output file.

  • -s, --server - The database server.

  • -d, --database - The database.

  • -t, --timeout - Default value of the parameter is 60 minutes. This is a database command timeout (in minutes).

  • --help - Displays the help screen.

  • --version - Displays the version information.
