List browser to List View mode

Dragging a List browser to a tab will open that List in View mode. This is particularly helpful when creating a large number of Procedure objects using that list (see List Groups and Items to a field), since the lists can then be dragged from the List View to the appropriate fields within the Procedure. To perform this action, follow the directions below.

1. Click the List selection ellipsis to display the List browser.

   

2. Drag the List, by its title bar, to the Procedure’s tab.

   

3. Release the mouse button, and the List will be opened in read-only mode.

   

You may then split these tabs into separate Tab Groups in order to drag Response Groups and/or Responses from the List View to a Procedure, as described below.
