Localization notes

Be aware of the following important notes regarding localization of non-English languages:

Export of procedures from a system using one language for use in a system using another language is not supported.

Not all strings throughout AVEVA Mobile Operator are translated. Most notably, the Auditor Plus Report IDs are not translated because they are customizable. In other locations, a color picker, or yes/no button, is not translated as they are currently handled by a third-party control. Log messages are also not translated from English.

The AVEVA Mobile Operator Web application can be localized. However, it is the browser language setting that drives the localization of AVEVA Mobile Operator Web application. If the browser language setting is set to a language that is not supported by the AVEVA Mobile Operator Web application, then the strings of the application will be displayed in English language. In a localized environment, the Peripheral name, settings, and few other strings might not appear as localized. Only the strings localized as per the database language will appear localized for Peripherals in the mobile applications. The strings that are not localized will appear in English.
