A valid license is required in the mobile application to:
-
Log in to the application.
In the mobile, after the Plant selection, when you select the Continue button, the application looks for a valid license in the mobile. If it exists, the login process continues, and the Dashboard screen appears. If not, it will try acquiring a valid license via the AVEVA Enterprise License Manager.
-
Perform the data sync operations.
During the data sync between the mobile device and the server, the application looks for valid license. If you do not have a valid license, it will try acquiring a valid license via the AVEVA Enterprise License Manager. If the application is not able to acquire a valid license, the data sync fails with an error message.
In AVEVA Mobile Operator 2020 R1 and later, you cannot track and manage license usage per device on the AVEVA Enterprise License Manager. You need to activate the entire subscribed license count via the AVEVA Enterprise License Manager. This subscribed license count is acquired at once and will be visible on AVEVA Enterprise License Manager.
