Task Group Attributes - Navigation Options tab

This tab contains selections that govern how this Procedure Item is encountered on the mobile device. This is set automatically when an Item is placed in a Procedure, but can be overridden.

• Default: Ensures that this item is encountered in both Task and Navigation views. Advancement from these items will proceed automatically when input is provided by a peripheral device or calculation, but manually otherwise.

• Background: Makes the item visible in Navigation view, but not in Task view.

• Background and Hide: Hides this item from both Task and Navigation views.

• Manual Advance: Requires the user to advance from this item manually, even when input is provided by a peripheral device or calculation.

  Note: Tasks and Decisions within the AVEVA Mobile Operator application will display the Title of their nearest visible (set to neither "Background" nor "Background and Hide") ancestor Task Group or Decision. If there are no visible ancestors, the title of its nearest parent Task Group or Decision is displayed.
