Device Pairing

Device pairing provides a mechanism to connect Bluetooth peripheral devices with mobile devices, and exists for both security and convenience. It is a one-time process for a given peripheral and mobile device pair. The Bluetooth peripheral devices should be registered in the Device Registration module of the Management Center before it can be paired with the mobile devices.
Note: It is recommended to you use Microsoft Windows 10 Creators Update for better Bluetooth pairing.
To pair with a mobile device

Turn on Bluetooth on the peripheral device, and ensure it is visible to the mobile device.
If you need help, refer to the User Manual of the peripheral device.

Tap the Settings app shortcut in the All Apps screen.
The Settings app is opened.

Tap Wireless & networks.
The Wireless & networks section is opened.

Tap Bluetooth.
The Bluetooth screen appears.

Tap to select Bluetooth.
Bluetooth is turned on, and all available Bluetooth devices in range are listed under Available devices.

Tap Pair on the Bluetooth peripheral device that needs to be paired.
The pairing process begins, and the Bluetooth pairing request dialog appears.
Note: The name of the Bluetooth peripheral device is displayed after the device is successfully paired.

Type the Bluetooth PIN of the peripheral device.
Refer to the list of Bluetooth PIN for Peripheral Devices.

Tap OK.
The peripheral device is paired with the mobile device.
Bluetooth PIN for Peripheral Devices
The Bluetooth PIN for peripheral devices is usually fixed, and the same must be entered while pairing it with a mobile device. The Bluetooth PIN for supported peripheral devices is as follows:

Device Connection
In procedures with scans, the Bluetooth connection is established in about 10 seconds after:

The Bluetooth connection is turned on for the mobile or peripheral device

The peripheral and mobile devices are brought back in range
