Create or edit Schedule: Advanced options

The options presented on the "Advanced" tab allow the tweaking of the Procedure Scheduling to allow specific behavior outside the norm.
Tip: It is advised to set these values from the top down, as many of the settings are dependent upon one another.

General:
-
Allow this procedure to be picked up X early: Schedules the procedure so that it can be downloaded up to 72 hours earlier than the Start Time of the Shift for which it was scheduled. This feature, for example, can allow mobile application users reporting to work early to start work when they arrive rather than waiting on the clock. After checking this box, choose "minutes" or "hours" and set the numerical variable.
-
Allow X extra Y to complete this procedure: Also referred to as "Latency," this option allows more time, in addition to that specified for the Shift, for the mobile application user to complete the Procedure. For example, if this setting is enabled and set to 24 hours, a mobile application user whose shift is 0:00 to 12:00 will have until 12:00 the next day to complete the Procedure. Until that time is reached, the Procedure would not appear as Overdue or Missed. This feature is best used, for example, when a Procedure is so long or involved that it can take multiple Shifts to complete. This option takes the place of "Allow until end of month," described below.
-
Allow until end of month: Checking this box will ensure that Latency is calculated per Procedure to extend to the end of the month in which the Procedure Instance falls. For example, for a Procedure Series that spans all 12 months, Latency is granted to the end of January to Procedures scheduled for download in January, until the end of February for all Procedures scheduled for download in February, and so forth. This Latency setting takes the place of "Allow X extra Y to complete this procedure."
-
Consider the procedure overdue if not completed in X Y: Specifies the amount of time after the Shift’s start that a Procedure, if not yet completed, should be displayed as "Overdue" in the Schedule Manager, Auditor Plus, Web Reports, and on the mobile application.
-
Lock this schedule from being edited: Prevents the Procedure Instance or Series being created (or edited) by Users without permission to lock schedules. Only users with permission to lock schedules can access this checkbox.
Missed procedures:
-
This procedure is missed if not completed at the expected time (including latency): Marks the Procedure as Missed if not completed within the period of time defined by the Shift, plus the value specified in the "Allow X Y to complete this procedure" setting, if enabled.
-
This is a required procedure that must be completed: This procedure will not be marked Missed if not completed in the allotted time. It will instead be marked Overdue, and either will stay on the mobile application or still be available for pickup. This option will automatically flag the "overdue" option.
