Additional options allowing the configuration of the appearance of the application and its report output are saved at three different levels.
-
User: The lowest classification of settings, subordinate to Global and Factory. Check the location of the User setting file by accessing the "Config Files" tab under Tools: Options.
Modifying these settings requires the Modify User Configuration privilege granted in the Administration application. If these configuration settings are not found, Auditor Plus will use the Global settings.
Tip: As a "Best Practice," users should be given the "Modify User Configuration" right, as this allows the application to "remember" filter settings, grouping, sorting, and other settings that enhance user experience and usability of Auditor Plus.
-
Global: The middle classification of settings, subordinate only to Factory. Global settings are stored in the directory (local or network) defined in the Mobile Operator Web Application under Auditor Plus section. Check the location of the Global setting file by accessing the "Config Files" tab under Tools: Options.
If this setting is undefined, saving to Global defaults will not be possible (see Auditor Plus Permissions for more information on this setting).
Modifying Global settings requires the Modify Global Configuration privilege granted in the Administration application.
-
Factory: The highest classification of settings, these represent the defaults with which Auditor Plus is installed. These settings are stored in the AuditorPlus.global.config file, which is placed in the directory to which Auditor Plus was installed.
To access display options, select "Options" under the Tools menu.
Note: The Options menu item is not available to users who do not possess at least the "Modify User Configuration" permission as granted in the Administration application.
The Options screen will appear. Its tabs, and the options on each, are outlined below the appropriate screenshots.
