Configure sync server settings

Note:
- If the "Desktop Version" or "Handheld Version" settings remain from previous installs, they can safely be ignored since AVEVA Mobile Operator no longer uses these settings.

- If you choose to retain the default Attachments Directory or any other directory location to C drive, make sure you create “Mobile to Server” folder inside the Docs folder.

-AVEVA recommends using different directories for Attachments Directory (Server to Mobile) and Attachments Directory (Mobile to Server).

- Make sure you have access to create new folders under the C:\Program Files\Wonderware\IntelaTrac Server\Docs folder.

Attachments Directory (Server to Mobile)

The directory used on the Synchronization Server to store Attached Documents transferred to mobile devices on synchronization. This directory is typically shared so that multiple users can retrieve attached documents.

Attachments Directory (Mobile to Server)

The directory used on the Synchronization Server to store the Mobile Attachments transferred from mobile device to server.

Last Log Entry (Days)

The number of days of log entries transferred to mobile computers. This setting can be different from Mobile History (Days/Points To Display), and can accommodate several weeks of history without being affected by mobile computer memory limitations. The default and recommended value for this setting is "7".

Mobile History Type1

The type of historical data, "Days" or "Points," that the value specified in the Mobile History (Days/Points To Display) setting affects. The default value for this setting is "Days".

Mobile History (Days/Points To Display)

Specifies the number of historical data, in "days" or "points" as specified by the Mobile History Type setting, transferred to mobile computers on synchronization. The default value for this setting is "15".

Device - Minimum Free Space (%) For Docs

Specify the minimum space required on mobile to download list of server attachments.

1 If you see a timeout error after modifying this setting, open your SAT.CONFIG file (by default, located at "C:\Program Files\AVEVA\Mobile Operator\Server\SAT.Config") and increase the "TimeOutInSecs" setting to at least 600.
