Configure Response List views

There are two new display type options for Response Lists: pop-up window view and task view radio buttons for response lists of six items or less.

Configuration for both types is performed through the Management Center.

To configure response list view type

1. Open Task Attributes for the task you wish to configure and navigate to the General tab.

2. Locate the Display Type on Mobile parameter and set to one of the following options:

   • Default - Displays a pop-up overlay window for Response List selection in Controlled Release 5. With the default view, users can restricted to options available in the list or be allowed to enter their own responses.

   • Radio Button - Presents Response List options directly on the Task view, selectable with a radio button. Restrict to List must be enabled. It is recommended to use Radio Button with up to six items.

   Note: Management Center does not validate whether a list has more than six items when selecting the Radio Button display type. Mobile users will only see six items in a given list, so it is the responsibility of the Management Center user performing the configuration to ensure that a valid display type option is set for each list.

3. Select a task

   The Response List opens in a pop up overlay. From here, you can:

   • Select from an available response

   • Enter a new response

   • Touch outside the list to dismiss
