Crew Overlay

The Crew Overlay dialog is accessible via the Toolbar or the View menu. Upon execution, the following screen will appear.

The available Crews sorted alphabetically by name, and the Crews’ descriptions (if available) are displayed in this window. The following interactive elements are available.

• Crew List: If a Crew is selected here, the Day/Shift cells on the Calendar during which that Crew is working will be highlighted in dark blue. Day/Shift cells will display normally if the selected Crew is not working at that time and shift. See below for an example.

• "Hide Overlay" Checkbox: Check this box to disable the Crew Overlay altogether. This will grey the Crew list, making it inaccessible, since the "Hide overlay" setting supersedes the individual Crew selection available on this screen.

• Column Headings: Click on a column heading to sort by the named attribute. Click again to reverse the sort order.

• OK: This button accepts the changes made and applies them to the calendar.

• Cancel: Exits the Crew Overlay screen and returns to the Calendar without making any modifications to the Crew Overlay settings.

• Help: Opens the Help file to the topic on Crew Overlay.

Note: Crew Overlay obeys the rules imposed by a Shift filter. Check the "Filter by Shift" settings if the Crew Overlay does not display as expected.
