Suspend Procedures

In some cases, it may be necessary or desirable to disable a Procedure Instance, ensuring that it is not available for download to the mobile application. In this case, the Procedure Instance may be Suspended by a User with the "Suspend and Delete Schedules" Permission.

When Suspended, a Procedure Instance is not only unavailable for download, but is not counted as Scheduled or Missed in metrics. The Procedure Instance may then optionally be rescheduled by moving it to another Cell.

To Suspend a Procedure Instance, use the Edit menu, or the context menu that appears when right-clicking on a Procedure or Cell.

  • Right-clicking on a Calendar Cell (left screenshot), or a selected range within the Calendar, will enable the "Suspend Procedure Instances" option, which will Suspend all Procedure Instances appearing in that Cell.

  • Right-clicking on a single Procedure appearing within a Calendar Cell (right screenshot) will enable the "Suspend" option, which will Suspend that particular Procedure Instance.

Once Suspended, the "Suspend…" options in the context, and Edit, menus will change to allow the "Resume…" features and disallow Suspend. Resuming a feature simply undoes the Suspend process; the Procedure Instance (if still current) will become able for download to the mobile application, and will be counted in metrics.
