Task Attributes - Attachments tab

Next, click the "Attachments" tab, if desired, to set attributes regarding Attachments.

• Attached Document: Selects a document from the Attached Document List (see Attached Documents) for attachment to this Task. The selected document, if intended for viewing by the mobile application user, will only be visible when this Task is selected in AVEVA Mobile Operator app.

  • Click the ellipsis () button to select a document to attach from the browser that appears, then click OK to accept the selection.

  • Click the "X" () button to clear the Attached Document setting.

    Note: Checking the "Hide Document from Mobile User" will prevent a mobile application user from viewing the document.

• Default Notes Starting Location: Defines the location in a Default Note list from which a mobile application user will begin navigating after choosing to enter a Default Note for this Task Group. (See Default Notes for more information regarding Default Notes.)

  For example, imagine a mobile application user working a safety equipment inspection in a particular area of a plant. This is the relevant section of the Default Notes list:

  

  Without the "Default Notes Starting Location" setting defined, the mobile application user must first open "Base YYZ," "Upper Level," and "Safety Equipment" before selecting a Note. With "Default Notes Starting Location" set to the "Safety Equipment" section of the hierarchy, however, the mobile application user is already at the correct location and can simply select the appropriate Note.

  Note: This feature does not prevent the mobile application user from backing out and opening a different Default Note Group.

  • Click the ellipsis () button to select a level of the Default Notes List from the browser that appears, then click OK to accept the selection.

  • Click the "X" () button to clear the Default Notes Starting Location setting.

• Trend: Selects a Trend (see Trends) for display to a mobile application user opening this Task in AVEVA Mobile Operator app.

  • Click the ellipsis () button to select a Trend to attach from the browser that appears, then click OK to accept the selection.

  • Click the "X" () button to clear the Trend setting.
