Reporting Services subscriptions can be configured to automatically email to any valid email address, whether or not the recipient is inside the user’s network. Emailing reports better facilitates "Management by Exception" since emails will only be created when the conditions of the data meet the report filter criteria.
Caution: Schedules may be configured for any combination of times and reports. Exercise caution with distribution of scheduled reports so that users are not overwhelmed by low priority data.
Use Subscriptions to schedule and automate the delivery of a report with a specific set of report parameter values. For more information on how to implement SSRS Subscriptions, refer to the Subscriptions and Delivery (Reporting Services) on the Microsoft network.
