Before deploying Power BI on your cloud or on-premises environment, you must consider the following points:

  • To access AVEVA Mobile Operator reports using the Power BI Cloud, we recommend you to configure Identity Provider as Azure Active Directory (AD) or CONNECT. For more information about configuring Identity Provider, see Identity Provider.

  • To access on-premises AVEVA Mobile Operator reports, we recommend you to configure Identity Provider as Local/Active Directory. For more information about configuring Identity Provider, see Identity Provider.

You can use the following table to refer the Identity Provider and the Authentication Mode supported for Power BI.
