Launch Procedure

Launch Procedure is an Action item that, when encountered, will close the current Procedure (in "In Progress" status) and open a specified Procedure On Demand. This ability is especially helpful when a mobile application user’s input to a previous Task triggers a Condition requiring many steps to resolve. For example, if a given pump’s pressure is low, the mobile application user may be required to backflush a screen, a process requiring many steps with which the mobile application user may not be familiar.

Note: Procedures On Demand opened as a result of the Launch Procedure action will appear on the Procedure List tab in AVEVA Mobile Operator app after launch.

To create a Launch Procedure Action, drag the "Launch Procedure" icon from the Toolbox to the desired Condition.

The "New Launch Procedure" item is selected, and the "Launch Procedure" section beneath opens to the "General" tab.
