Device Registration

The Device Registration module within the Management Center provides the Administration user with the ability to register the Bluetooth peripheral devices that will be able to communicate with those same mobile applications.

Device registration exists for both security and convenience. By registering these devices within Mobile Operator, the field user will not accidentally pair with another Bluetooth capable device in the field, potentially corrupting the data collection component of their work process.

Device Registration provides:

• An interface to manage Bluetooth peripheral data collection devices.

Currently, supported Bluetooth devices include:

• Raytek Ranger MX4 W/BT

• Bartech RFID Pen

• TPI 9080/9085 Vibration Analyzer

• Land Cyclops

To open Device Registration, click on its entry in the expanded Administration group.

Note: This documentation assumes that you have sufficient permissions to access the application and its features. Without sufficient permissions, functions within applications are inaccessible.
