Note: Only System Permissions can be assigned to User Groups. Application Permissions must be assigned to Bases placed within those groups.

To remove System Permissions from User Groups, do the following:

  1. Click the List Manager menu in Security Manager.

  2. Click Permission Manager from the Edit option. The Permission Manager tab opens in the workspace.

  3. Select Group from the View Type menu.

  4. Expand the desired Group in the right-hand pane to reveal the Base(s) to which you wish to assign permissions.

  5. Select the Base in the right-hand pane and select the Application Permission tab below.
Application permissions can be removed from user Groups by unchecking the appropriate box(es) within the Application Type and/or Permissions lists.

  6. Click the File menu in Security Manager and select Save to save the changes. Alternately, you can press CTRL+S or right-click the tab and select Save.
