Pinning

The ability to "pin" an object is indicated by the display of a pushpin icon (). Pinning an object ensures both that it remains visible on the screen, and that scrolling (if applicable; see "Pinning Columns" below) affects only unpinned objects.

To "pin" or "unpin" an object, click the pushpin icon. When pinned () this action will "unpin" the object; when unpinned () this action will pin the object.

This feature works differently in columns than it does with panels, as shown below.
