AVEVA™ Mobile Operator

Public / Private Groups and Items

Groups and Items within those Groups are designated as being either "Private" or "Public".

Private – These Groups and Items (shown below) are created and managed by the individual AVEVA Mobile Operator User and can be modified and deleted as needed.

  • Modification of "Private" Groups and Items by one user will not affect the Management Center configuration for another user.

  • Detail Section fields can be edited through this interface.

Public – These Groups and Items are part of the basic AVEVA Mobile Operator installation and cannot be deleted or modified by the individual AVEVA Mobile Operator user.

  • These items may be rearranged as needed.

  • "This group is public" or "This item is public" will appear at the upper right hand corner of the Details section (as shown below).

  • The Detail Section fields cannot be edited through this interface.

    Tip: You may create your own "Private" Groups, incorporating New or Existing "Public" items. The user then has permissions to alter these existing items. See Add existing Items to Groups for more information.
