In Hybrid mode authentication, only Active Directory or Local users are supported. Azure Active Directory and CONNECT users are not supported.
Users who are the members of Active Directory Groups are auto registered based on their Group membership. Active Directory users can be added via the Management Center and managed with local Groups. Permissions cannot be assigned to users directly. Permissions are inherited only from the Group membership.
In this mode, you can set a password (local password) for an Active Directory user via the Security Manager in Management Center. In this case, the password management criteria will be similar to that of Local mode. The local password for Active Directory user is applicable only for mobile app login and cannot be used to log in to the Management Center and AVEVA Mobile Operator web application.
