Using SubmitData for Quality

The SubmitData method enables you to add and update records in AVEVA™ Production Management through web services. You can do bulk addition and modification of records through the SubmitData method for all AVEVA Production Management modules. This topic applies only to submitting Quality records using the SubmitData web service. For the general topic, see SubmitData.

For this purpose, Quality includes all elements that share standard fields on the Quality configuration item, including these types of quality:

• Process Quality

• Material Quality

• Calculated Quality

Required fields

The required fields for the Quality module are the standard fields in Quality that have the IsMandatory property set to True.

Doing bulk movements for Quality

You can perform bulk actions on Quality records and events.

• Insert Quality records.

• Insert Quality events.

Guidelines for Material Quality

• User will require permissions to insert records or events to a specific Material Quality reporting point.

• When you submit a valid record to a Material Quality reporting point, a record is inserted into the Quality Events database table.

• You can submit a deleted quality event (IsDeleted flag set to True).

• You can not submit Quality events to records that have been Finalized (IsFinalized flag is set to True).
