Movement types

You can add material movements for the following movement types:

• Input - Material enters the process (there is no source equipment). AVEVA Production Management adds the following records:

  • One Movement record.

  • One Material Flow record at the destination equipment.

• Output - Material leaves the process (there is no destination equipment). AVEVA Production Management adds the following records:

  • One Movement record.

  • One Material Flow record at the source equipment for each lot of material being moved.

• Internal - Material moves from a source equipment to a destination equipment. AVEVA Production Management adds the following records:

  • One Movement record.

  • One Material Flow record at the source equipment for each lot of material being moved.

  • One Material Flow record at the destination equipment.
