These properties appear in the Insight category of Downtime evaluated field.

Note: Depending on your selections, some properties may appear or disappear from the available set of properties.

Insight properties

Property	Description	Valid values
InsightFieldAlias	(Optional) The field alias to pass in the metadata to AVEVA™ Insight. This translates to a tag alias in AVEVA™ Insight. An alias is a searchable name that you can assign to a tag that is easy to identify or easy-to-remember replacement for a tagname. In Production Analyst, this property will appear on the Insight tab of the properties dialog box for that field. An alias does not need to be unique. For more information see Define tag aliases in the AVEVA™ Insight documentation. Note: This property applies to custom fields only. It requires you to first add an Insight item under the Insight folder of the System Configuration folder and specify this field as a source to the Insight item. If the data type of the field is numeric, Boolean, or string, then the InsightFieldAlias property will be available.	String value
InsightInterpolationType	The interpolation type to send in the metadata to AVEVA™ Insight. In AVEVA™ Production Management, the default type is Stairstep. Note: This property applies to both standard and custom fields. It requires you to first add an Insight item under the Insight folder of the System Configuration folder. This information directs AVEVA™ Insight on how to process and display the data in Insight. For more information, see Understand interpolation type in the AVEVA™ Insight documentation. InsightFieldAlias

(Optional) The field alias to pass in the metadata to AVEVA™ Insight. This translates to a tag alias in AVEVA™ Insight.

An alias is a searchable name that you can assign to a tag that is easy to identify or easy-to-remember replacement for a tagname.

In Production Analyst, this property will appear on the Insight tab of the properties dialog box for that field. An alias does not need to be unique.

If the data type of the field is numeric, Boolean, or string, then the InsightFieldAlias property will be available.

The interpolation type to send in the metadata to AVEVA™ Insight. In AVEVA™ Production Management, the default type is Stairstep.

This information directs AVEVA™ Insight on how to process and display the data in Insight.
