About Energy custom fields

Fields define what Energy data AVEVA™ Production Management records. An Energy reporting point contains Energy standard fields and any number of custom fields that you define. At the reporting point, you can add, configure, and delete custom fields.

Normalizing time units

If you use integral fields (CalculationType is set to Integral) you must normalize the time units.

An integral calculation type expects the time units to be in seconds. Therefore, divide the sample by 3600 to convert the figure from a per hour value into a per second value. For example, kW / 3600.0.
