Configure a manual action item

You can configure an action item to execute manually.

To configure a manual action item

1. By default, when you create an Action item in Studio, it is a manual action item because the EnableManualExecution property is set to True.

   

2. Specify the Function property. Click the Browse (...) button next to the Functions property to open the Function Editor. Enter an expression with Expression Editor.

   

3. Specify the ManualExecutionTimeStamp property.

   What date is associated with a manual execution?

   ManualExecutionTimeStamp - Select a date stamp that you want to associate with a manual execution. You can use this feature in testing and simulation purposes. AVEVA™ Production Management time stamps the manual execution with whatever value you enter here.

   

Execute an action manually

• Right-click the Action item and click Execute.
