Add a parameter family and group

You can organize recipe parameters into a three-level hierarchy with families at the highest level.

To add a parameter family

1. In Studio, expand the System Configuration folder and the Recipe configuration item.

2. Right-click the Parameters folder, point to Add Item, point to Recipe, and then click Add Parameter Family. A new parameter family appears.

   

3. Rename the family with a meaningful name.

To add a parameter group

Under a parameter family, you can add parameter groups.

4. Right-click the Parameter Family, and click Add Parameter Group. A new parameter group appears.

   

5. Rename the group with a meaningful name.
