What happens during full reprocessing?

During full reprocessing the following operations occur:
-
AVEVA™ Production Management processes unfinalized movement events and quality events.
-
AVEVA™ Production Management creates a new version of the unfinalized Inventory data.
-
Upon successful completion, AVEVA™ Production Management replaces the old version of unfinalized Inventory data with the new version.
-
If the operation does not complete successfully, or is canceled, AVEVA™ Production Management discards the new version of Inventory data and retains the old version.
Note: Depending on the number of unfinalized events, the reprocessing operation can take a long time to finish.

The Inventory Reprocessing window in Production Analyst shows the real-time progress of the reprocessing operation and provides a summary on the results.
