Configure Plant2Business settings for surveys and adjustments

To be able to submit surveys and adjustments for Plant2Business, you need to adjust some settings on the P2B integration item.

Note: The external database should have a Location field that is mapped to an Equipment in the project hierarchy where the survey or adjustment will be applied to run the integration successfully.

To configure the required settings

1. Ensure the ActionType is set correctly for survey or adjustment.

   • For Adjustments - Set ActionType property to AdjustmentEvent type.

   • For Surveys - Set ActionType property to SurveyEvent type.

2. Change the following properties on the P2B integration item to String format.

   

   Change the Adjustment Method, Adjustment Type, and Movement Type fields to be of String type for the following properties:

   • DestinationFields

   • SourceFields

3. Open the Field Collection Editor and change the DataType to String.

   

4. For material balance adjustments, you will need to add material and quantity for both source and destination fields.
