Obtain AVEVA™ Insight encrypted connection string

To obtain AVEVA™ Insight encrypted connection string

1. Download AVEVA™ Historian Publisher.

2. Install AVEVA™ Historian Publisher on the Server.

3. Run Historian Publisher, click Register.

4. Click Login.

5. Enter your AVEVA™ Insight credentials.

6. Select your AVEVA™ Insight Solution.

7. Type in the name of the Published Application (Data Source) you wish to connect to and click Share.

8. Click get it here and save DataSourceReg.txt.

9. Close Historian Publisher.

10. Copy the contents of DataSourceReg.txt and paste into the ConnectionDetails property in Studio.
