There are two ways to start your project and have the items of the project execute the functions they are configured to perform:
-
Automatic project start
When you start the project, AVEVA™ Production Management starts items in the project according to their individual StartupMode property settings. See, Set the StartupMode property.
Starting or stopping an item is recursive. Child items of the parent item that starts or stops, also start, or stop. The items start or stop in order, from top to bottom of the Project Explorer hierarchy, from the parent item, one branch at a time, from left to right in each branch, until every child item is started or stopped appropriately.
