Message integration application components

There are other components related to message integration that are part of the application.

Service Bus item

The Service Bus item in AVEVA™ Production Management defines the connection to an external messaging sever. Your project may contain one Service Bus item under the System Configuration item.

The Service Bus item can either send or receive messages from an external application such as an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software.

Commands

Commands are messages that communicate information into AVEVA Production Management from an external system.
