Associate an equipment type

You can associate an equipment type with a particular location.

To associate an equipment type

1. Select a location in the plant hierarchy.

   

2. In the Properties pane, next to the Equipment Types property, click Browse (...). The Equipment Types dialog box appears to show you the available equipment types. If any equipment types are already assigned to the location these appear highlighted.

3. Select the equipment types that you want to use at this location. You can choose any number of equipment types for a location.

4. Click OK.
