Add and configure a Metrics KPI

A Metrics KPI is conceptually similar to a field in the other modules. However, fields in the other modules directly acquire data. In the Metrics module, a field (KPI) performs a calculation on data that is acquired the other modules.

The field resolvers that appear below the field identify empty data tags in the formula.

Important: Link the resolvers to existing data fields or values to complete the field definition.

To add a KPI (Metrics field)

1. Right-click the relevant Metrics reporting point and click Add KPI. A new KPI item appears.

   

2. Rename the KPI with a meaningful name.

3. Configure the KPI properties. Link each Metrics KPI to a defined formula and have its resolvers linked to a data source.
