The Calculated Inventory source field under the Calculated Inventory Fields folder represents the material quantity before calculation.
A Calculated Inventory source field is a quality field at a Material Quality reporting point level that is involved in a calculation to produce an alternate quantity value also known as a Calculated Inventory Field.

Example
A Calculated Inventory source field may be Moisture and the expression on a Calculated Inventory field called Dry Tonnes may be Quantity * Moisture.
The result of this expression is a dry quantity value that can be selected as the chosen quantity field by selecting a field on a Calculated Quality reporting point and selecting Dry Tonnes from the InventoryQuantity field selector.
Note: If the evaluation of the source field expression equals zero (0), the returned field in the results grid is empty.
For information on relationship between Calculated Inventory and Material Quality, and Calculated Inventory and Calculated Quality, see About Calculated Inventory Fields.
