Set log file maximum size

Set up your performance counters to roll the log every 50 MB. A perfmon log file greater than 50 MB becomes difficult to work with. You do this by giving the log a maximum size and specifying that a new file starts when the maximum file is reached.

To set the maximum size for the log file

1. On the Log Files tab, click Configure.

   

2. Specify Limit of and enter 50 MB.

   

3. Click OK.
