Add and configure an AVEVA status variable

Add and configure an AVEVA connector group before adding a status variable.

To add an AVEVA status variable

1. In the Project Explorer, right-click the group, and then click Add Status Variable. An AVEVA Status Variable item appears.

   

2. Rename the item with a meaningful name.

3. Configure the properties. For guidance in configuring the properties, see AVEVA connector variable properties.
