Examples: How AVEVA Production Management calculates contribution qualities for lot groups

There are various rules that apply to how AVEVA™ Production Management calculates contribution quality values for lot groups. In these example scenarios, we are calculating the overall quality value of the portion of the lot group that was contributed by each owner.

Scenario 1: Each lot has a quality value

All lots have a quality value, so AVEVA™ Production Management performs a straightforward weighted average calculation.

Scenario 2: One lot has no quality value

In this scenario, one lot does not have a quality value. The lot without a quality value is not used in the calculation.

Scenario 3: All lots have a quality value, but one contributor has a negative balance

In this scenario, the lot balance for one owner is negative. No quality value is calculated for that owner.
