Add a Process Quality custom field

A Quality custom field defines what Quality data AVEVA™ Production Management records. A Quality reporting point contains Quality standard fields and any number of custom fields that you define. At the reporting point, you can add, configure, and delete custom fields.

For aggregating data, carefully consider your strategy for naming custom fields. Finally, configure the custom fields by setting field properties. For suggestions on custom field names, see Suggested field names.

To add Process Quality custom field

1. Right-click the relevant Quality reporting point and select Add Field. The new field appears under the Fields folder.

   

2. Rename the field with a meaningful name.

3. Configure the properties. For guidance in configuring the properties, see Process Quality custom field properties.
