AVEVA™ Production Management

Add and configure Planning transition state

  • Last UpdatedMar 17, 2025
  • 1 minute read

AVEVA™ Production Management comes with a supplied record state workflow. For each record state, the possible transitions appear beneath the record state, such as Active and Closed.

Important: Be aware that when a Planning record transitions to the Active state, this triggers any configured Actions for the Planning reporting point.

Note: It is not possible for any state to transition to the Error state, so the Error state does not appear as a valid transition.

Add a custom transition state

When you add a new custom record state, each available transition appears beneath the new custom state and the new custom state appears as a valid transition beneath existing states. Newly-added items appear in blue until they are saved. For guidance in configuring the properties, see Planning custom transition state properties.
